Between 1975 and 1998 the Federation produced a total of 43 Ulster Local Studies journals, for the most part twice a year. Unfortunately most of these journals are long out of print and almost impossible to obtain.
In 1999, the successor of Ulster Local Studies was launched, known as Due North. Over 20 editions of Due North have been published, the most recent in Autumn 2024 which featured articles on;
-
'Some aspects of the Life of Cahir Healy' by Helen Meehan
-
'The Belfast Blitz: Voices from the Northern Ireland War Memorial' by Michael Burns
-
'County Down’s Dr. James J. Drumm - A Man Ahead of his Time' by James Scannell
-
'The History Of Arranmore Island' by Denis O’Donnell
-
'Mount Davies' by Elizabeth Hoy
-
'Bishop Thomas Percy of Dromore, Co. Down and William Shenstone Landscape gardeners' by Fredrick Gilbert Watson
