Who We Are

Founded in 1974, the Federation has grown its membership to cover all nine counties of Ulster.

Encouraging local historical societies to meet, research and engage with their local history, from the Sperrins to the Mournes and from the Ards Peninsula to Lough Erne.

Our membership spans all across the ancient province of Ulster with over 70 member societies, actively engaging with their local history!
